Common Street Spiritual Center Policies:

As a self-governing community we establish our own policies and procedures to guide our common life together.

Safe Community Policy (adopted at our Annual Gathering in 2017)

From the Introduction to the Safe Community Policy: “Common Street Spiritual Center seeks to be a place where all can feel safe and welcome. Towards that end we have established this policy in an effort to prevent sexual exploitation, sexual harassment, and other abusive behavior at our Center and in our community of members; such behavior will not be tolerated by the community of Common Street Spiritual Center, and this policy outlines our response whenever it occurs.”

Relational Covenant (presented at our Annual Gathering in Feb 2017, which we expect to vote on in the fall of 2017)

These commitments are promises we make to each other as a love-centered community. They are not a legal code, but an expression of who we hope to be as part of a living, growing community. Our hope is that they can be a starting point for rich conversations about our life together.
