Circles of Peace

Meets Every First Saturday at 2pm in our Sanctuary. See calendar for dates.

Please join in the conversation as we continue to get real about the problem of racism in our world, and move toward personal and collaborative action.  For more info please contact Via Perkins:

Awareness of the problem of racism in our country has been growing ever since Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager, was killed by a police officer in Ferguson, MO in the summer of 2014.  Since then a string of unarmed black people have been killed or abused by police. In response, the Black Lives Matter movement has been growing in momentum in efforts to expose and dismantle systems of white racism in this country.  Our Circles of Peace are opportunities to talk openly about racism and other forms of oppression in our society, such as patriarchy.
