We are a just-seeking community and we find strength and motivation through our spirituality. Our Sunday Circles touch on themes of social and environmental justice, anti-racism, addiction and recovery, climate justice, and other relevant issues that impact our lives, our families, and our world. We also share our wisdom and encourage one another to develop spiritual practices that lead to spiritual growth, expanded consciousness, acceptance, and a more loving way of life. Learn more.
Buddhist Study Meditation Group
Mondays (Tuesdays during summer) • 8-9pm • 3rd Floor Meditation Room
In our weekly meetings we practice basic mindfulness meditation and seek to understand how this practice fits within the framework of the Buddha’s teachings. Each meeting lasts about an hour and consists of brief meditation exercises and some discussion of the Buddha’s radical approach to life.
Work That Reconnects
Every 2nd Thursday • 7-9pm
3rd Floor Meditation Room
The Work That Reconnects is group work, developed by eco-philosopher Joanna Macy and others, that helps us connect with deep wells of wisdom and resiliency as we work for justice and the healing of Earth. We would love for you to participate in this work with us…even if you are new to it. We engage in simple but profound practices and processes that move us through the spiral of Work That Reconnects, from gratitude, to honoring our pain for the world, to seeing with new eyes, and, finally, going forth.
